Welcome Message from the Principal
I extend to you and your family, a warm welcome on behalf of the Ryde Secondary College community.
You will be joining a co-educational high school for students from Years 7 to 12, providing a broad and engaging curriculum for mainstream, selective and support students.
Our school community fosters a dynamic and collaborative learning environment in which every student is valued and engaged in collaborative learning. A wide range of talents and interests are nurtured and positive learning outcomes are achieved in a supportive, educationally focussed environment.
As a member of our community it is expected that you engage with other students and become active in our school community. There is much our students can learn from you as well as you learning from us! Participation in broader school activities is important for you in developing your talents, leadership skills and constructive relationships. You will be supported by a positive school culture and by our focus on our core values of respect, cooperation, responsibility and leadership.
At Ryde Secondary College it is expected that you work with our teachers and staff. International Students experiencing difficulty with language, learning content or wellbeing / homestay issues are to approach the International Students co-ordinator and discuss these concerns in our supportive and solutions-focussed environment. Together we can make your education a successful and rewarding experience resulting in life-long friendships and learning outcomes.
We look forward to providing you with a high quality public education at Ryde Secondary College.
